Maria Hickel began her tenure at Guardian in December of 2008. While she began as a Claims Support Specialist, she quickly rose through the ranks and joined the leadership team where she remains today as our Bilingual Team Lead. Maria's effervescent personality, along with her powerful work ethic quickly led to her becoming a leader that agents want to follow. She's been a key player in our teams support for over a decade. Maria has helped foster some of the best relationships and camaraderie within the Guardian team and remains an integral part of operations to this day.

- I assist agents with their questions, speak to customers when they are upset over the outcome of their claim, and do Q/A Spanish call reviews.
- Can you tell us a few details about your favorite part of the job?
I love helping agents grow and develop in their career, and I also enjoy connecting with our customers. - What makes you want to stay at our organization?
I really appreciate the value OnPoint has for their employees, as well as the care the company shows to their employees. - What do you like about OnPoint's company culture?
The Town hall meetings are great, especially how Chris makes us all fell comfortable when we ask questions that are important to us. - Who inspires you the most within our organization?
Megan. She is very warm, caring, and helped me tremendously when I started as a Team Lead. -

- What do you do for fun? Camping and spending time with my family, especially my grandbabies.
- What is your favorite show right now? My husband and I love to watch Below Deck, as well as documentaries we find on History Channel or on YouTube.
